Came here on Christmas Day and it wasn't too crowded. I can see how parking could be an issue, but there was a good amount of street parking on this day. We got the chicken potstickers (3/5, the bottom fried skirt wasn't as crispy and flakey as I would have liked, but the filling was good), broccoli (2/5, nothing special, comes with a side of oyster sauce), wonton soup (3/5, pretty average, soup tastes good for a cold day), pig ears (5/5, loveeed how long the strips were. The pig ears were thin but crunchy and perfectly spicy), and two servings of XLB (5/5, couldn't really taste the crab in the pork and crab XLB so I would recommend just sticking with pork, but loved how much soup they were able to get into the each one. The filling was delicious and the dough was perfectly chewy). Service was nice and the food came out quickly. However, for the provided free sides of ginger, I wish it came in fresh strips rather than it being pounded down and clumped together.

Came for lunch with my family. There was a small wait when we arrived and what appeared to be a long wait when we left, so come prepared to hang out prior to being seated. Once inside the restaurant has large tables to accommodate ordering multiple baskets of dumplings. We enjoyed a variety of bao, noodles, salads, soup dumplings, and more. Everything arrived at the table around the same time, as opposed to coming out in waves as it would in a traditional restaurant which meant some dumplings cooked quite a bit before I got to them and eating felt a bit rushed. The bright open seating was comfortable enough and modern (think chipotle) but all in all the food and the experience were good.

FOOD: 9/10 Quality: We LOVE Dough Zone! Like you see in the picture, the two of us ordered so much food! The kale salad is the best I have ever had, the sweet and sour flavors helps to cover the bitterness of the kale and the texture of the kale is everything! A very refreshing appetizer. And the dan dan noodle is always phenomenal! It was cooked to perfection. Very tender and flavorful. Appearance: All the food looks great! The potstickers are looking like a beautiful art to me! Portion size: Well, I always think that the portion could always be bigger! It would be more satisfying for the customers especially when they are hungry. ‍ Service‍: 8/10 Friendliness: Service is solid! The servers that served us are all very nice and friendly! Even thought we came there late and they are ready to close, they took us and still gave us great service! Timeliness: Food arrived quite fast, we did not wait for too long and it came to us in nice and warm temperature. Environment: Very clean and nice, The lighting is perfect and I loved how everything looks, very simple yet modern. Location: Great location! Right next to U-village and underneat the apartment complex. It might be difficult to find parkings because the residents took all of the street parkings available. But it wasn't too far if you parked at U-village and walked to Dough Zone!

I've eaten here three times and it's been consistently good every time. The pork and shrimp potstickers are my favorite. I could eat tons of these! I also always order the thin sliced beef wrapped in a a crispy, savory pancake. Classic. The service is quick and the ambience is clean and nice with a decent amount of space between tables. I've been to other Dough Zones in Seattle and Bellevue, but this one is my go-to.

VEGETARIANS BEWARE! Ever wonder why the options that don't contain meat aren't labeled as vegetarian?? It's because they sprinkle chicken powder on those items :)))) leaving barely any actually vegetarian options. And don't come @ the workers, it's a chain. But idk if that's something they can opt not to do, I'd assume they're prepped that way. But was disappointed to find out. So why still 5 stars? The food is good, fast, and reasonably priced with a visual menu. This location is super close to u village area, so nice dinner close to there if you're in the area without the wait, open late.

Came to this location for the first time! It was very spacious. The staff was friendly and attentive. We ordered a bunch of dishes plus dessert. Very satisfied with the portion; tastes were standard just like other Dough Zones. It was esp cost-efficient as we got the gift card from Costco (pretty much 20% off). We parked at the garage in U Village and could just walk across the street to this location.

I've enjoyed my visits to Dough Zone in Bellevue and Seattle's Chinatown International District. I actually prefer this indie chain over the international sensation Din Tai Fung. This was our first visit to the University District site. After picking up The Homie from campus, we were able to score on nearby street parking (10/10/23). I was absolutely amazed at all the new development since I had not traveled to this stretch of 25th proximate to University Village in a while. This Dough Zone had a modern interior, but had big view windows of the adjacent Ravenna Woods. We were promptly seated, no reservations and no wait which was a major plus. The Homie opted for a milk tea ($5.50), pork wontons w/chili sauce ($6.95), spicy beef shank ($7.95), and noodles with onion soy sauce ($7.50). I leaned towards my favorites and seemed to hit the spot on that particular cold, rainy early evening. I selected the pork XLB ($8.95), dan dan noodles ($7.50), and pork wontons in chicken broth ($7.50). Well fed and a very satisfying meal! A worthy culinary detour.
